(Bangor, Maine) January 12, 2017 – Links Web Design is proud to announce the launch of a fully responsive website from Growing Home TV Show. Growing Home features stories about veterans who continue to serve their country through farming. Each episode features veterans who have gone on to run sustainable agriculture businesses after their military service.
The 13 episode first season of Growing Home airs at 11 a.m. Sunday on NBC affiliate stations WCSH-6 in Portland and WLBZ-2 in Bangor. Each episode tells the story of a veteran who has gone on to farming and raising livestock in a sustainable way to give more to their country. Businesses featured on the show include potato farms, blueberry fields, a winery and a deer farm, in towns from southern coastal Maine to Aroostook County.
Growing Home TV is also selling bracelets and key chains. Each “Growing Home” bracelet or key-chain is custom made by a Veteran at Handmade by Heroes. By purchasing, you are directly helping the Veteran who made it. Also, Growing Home will donate a percentage of every bracelet purchased, to the “Growing Home Farmer Fund”. As the Growing Home TV Program grows throughout the country, our “Growing Home Farmer Fund” will grow with us, periodically allocating purchases of much needed equipment for Veteran Farmers featured on the show, as well as to assist in special projects for Veteran Farmers throughout the Country.
